With beautiful beaches, sweeping views and perfect weather – LA has everything to make it one of the most romantic places in the world. It’s no coincidence that the movie studios have used this as a backdrop for many romantic movies, including Pretty Woman, Valentine’s Day (rather appropriately) and The Wedding Singer. Visit the City of Angels and let it sweep you off your feet.

3. London, England - London, one of the most recognizable and widely used film locations in the world has inspired many truly memorable romantic movies, including Bridget Jones' Diary, Love Actually, Notting Hill and Four Weddings and a Funeral. So gents – why not put on your best Mr. Darcy accent and whisk your lady away to the jewel in the English crown.

4. Paris, France - Think romance, and most people immediately think Paris. Films have portrayed this bustling and charming metropolis as a city of love for years. Some of the many films that have been set there, include Paris, je t’aime, Amélie, Moulin Rouge and French Kiss. Wander along the Seine, sneak a kiss under the lights of the Eiffel Tower or sip a coffee and watch the world go by at Montmartre; there is no better place to fall in love.

5. Rome, Italy - With stunning landmarks like the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps, it's easy for directors to choose the Italian capital as their setting. Romantic tales that have been filmed there include When in Rome, Eat Pray Love (well, at least the “Eat” part) and the wonderful Roman Holiday. Go on; find your own little romantic corner in the City of Fountains.

6. Seattle, Wash. - You might not immediately associate the home of grunge music with love, but Seattle does have a softer side. The Space Needle, dating from the Century 21 Exposition, is Seattle's most recognizable landmark, and has been featured in romantic films such as Sleepless in Seattle, 10 Things I Hate about You and more recently Love Happens. Give the city a try and you might surprise yourself…hey, it worked for Tom Hanks twice.

7. Las Vegas, Nev. - Look, we all have our definition of romance, right? For some, it’s the Little Chapel of Love and an Elvis costume. If the idea of a big wedding is too much, get on over to the City of Sin and declare your love surrounded by the lights and sounds of The Strip. 8. Chicago, Ill. - The Windy City is home to many romantic productions, including No Strings Attached, What Women Want, My Best Friend’s Wedding and While You Were Sleeping. Take your date for a ride on the iconic L train and then for a deep dish pizza, she’ll love it. Go for a walk next to the great lake and seal the deal as you give up your jacket when she gets cold (odds are she probably will).

9. Dublin, Ireland - The Irish love a craic…and a good love story. Dublin has a real easy charm and the people are as likely to give you a hug as they are to give you their opinion. The city also has been a setting for a few lesser known, but memorable film love stories, such as Leap Year, P.S. I Love You and Once. Nothing like strolling through the beautiful lush countryside to get the heart racing.

10. Baltimore, Md. - Baltimore has been home to several romantic blockbusters, including He's Just Not That into You and Runaway Bride. Don’t let these titles put you off, as Baltimore has plenty to offer couples looking for love. You can relax by the beautiful Baltimore Harbour, wander the narrow lanes of Fells Point or take a romantic dinner cruise on the Potapsco Rover.
